Bigger Picture v 1.1.6
v 4.8 22.12.18 Will this revive the Mac App Store? I strongly doubt it. It can definitely help developers who are lucky enough to find their apps featured by Apple. But Apple is facing a much broader set of issues than just a messy store, and I suspect that the iOS app ports will likely play a bigger role in making the Mac App Store worth looking at again, whenever they actually start to arrive in 2019. Key Features of My Splash Effects In addition to the title text, which is added automatically based on what you type, you can also add individual captions to each image. This is done by clicking the plus button at the right of the thumbnail listing and typing into the text box. Unfortunately, the text box is fixed and can't be moved around. Set the Volume Format to 'Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'; for SSDs being installed as internal boot drives, select 'APFS' (Apple File System). NOTE: Rotational drives and Fusion drives can only be formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). The name can be anything you want, but should be a different name from the startup drive being replaced. Once those options are set, click the 'Erase…' button.
Ever need a quick look at a bunch of pictures in one folder all at once? QuickLook is all well and good, but it’s a slow-going one-photo-at-a-time. You could use iPhoto, but for a quick check of a folder full of images, that’s a bit labor intensive. For our money, today’s tip may be the fastest way to see all those photos at once.

If it works, it means that one of your extensions/plugins is causing the issue.
Reduce Clutter will review the content of your Mac and delete older documents.
Immediately after the update, my machine's overall responsiveness seemed slightly slower, but that may have just been the computer adjusting things post-installation. The next day, things seemed just as fast and fluid as they were before the upgrade. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the update on an older machine yet, but our editor-in-chief, Dana, has been running the beta on an already slow iMac we have lying around (one that uses a traditional hard drive), and she has some regrets. We can't say exactly how things will work on your computer, but it's probably safe to say that if you upgraded to High Sierra last year without incident, you'll be fine this time too -- especially if you're using a Mac with solid-state storage.
The Photos tab gives an eagle's eye view of your entire library split into the same Years, Collections, and Moments groupings as with the iOS Photos app. There's no mention of these terms anywhere within Photos on the Mac, however, and that's perhaps for a good reason because they can be confusing. However, the concept behind them isn't.
Requires an Apple Watch with watchOS 3 or later and an iPhone 5 or later.
